I will miss our current President. I want to thank him for his eight years in office. These were eight years of extremely difficult decisions, and most decisions made against the popular polls.
Let’s looks at weapons of mass destruction after 9-11. I remember the news with Collin Powell, and all the other political people showing pictures of trucks leaving Iraq with what they thought were the WMD, and God knows what else. It was on that intelligence the war in Iraq was launched. Fast forward a few years and no WMD were found, (never mind there was evidence that they did). Suddenly Bush has launched us into a war for no reason-on yes-some said for oil, some said to finish what his Dad had not done., and a bunch of other as ridiculous theories. I am so angry that not one of the political brainiacs in that previous press conference with all the information and pictures deciding to go to war against Iraq spoke up to defend our President’s decision. What moral cowards they must be.
I would mention the far left Hollywood nut jobs, and the left wing biased media but I think it best not to for I would go on and on about my total disdain for these very low life, cowardly, self centered ego maniacs. Don’t ask me how I really feel.
I believe that Mr. Shapiro an investigative reporter and lawyer who previously interned with John F. Kerry's legal team during the presidential election in 2004 said it best:
“The treatment President Bush has received from this country is nothing less than a disgrace. The attacks launched against him have been cruel and slanderous, proving to the world what little character and resolve we have. The president is not to blame for all these problems. He never lost faith in America or her people, and has tried his hardest to continue leading our nation during a very difficult time.
Our failure to stand by the one person who continued to stand by us has not gone unnoticed by our enemies. It has shown to the world how disloyal we can be when our president needed loyalty -- a shameful display of arrogance and weakness that will haunt this nation long after Mr. Bush has left the White House.”
